David and Kim Horstman would like to welcome you to Sauce Italian Grill and Pub located in Downtown Adrian Michigan.  Sauce opened its doors in December 2011, roughly two years after the purchase of the former Mr. Ed’s restaurant.  The remodel includes up to date structural and facade changes while also preserving many of the historical elements including brick walls with photos from past decades.

Sauce has a full dinner menu that includes some of Kim’s traditional family recipes along with Italian favorites, Sandwiches & Burgers, full bar and more.  Street parking in the front and large parking lot in the rear.  A professional trained staff, serving great food, in a historic environment makes for a dining experience that is inviting and keeps people coming back.

In 2014 Sauce added an outdoor dining patio which provides a dining experience that is second to none in Lenawee County.  Sauce has been voted the “Best of Lenawee” every year since opening.  Sauce was also recently awarded the “Certificate of Excellence” from TripAdvisor.

The Eggplant parm was amazing and service was quick. 4 stars because the stuffed shells were cold but they warmed them up in the microwave quickly. The bread isn’t complimentary but was fun, I’m not sure if they were worth it though. Vegetarian options: Eggplant Parm was amazing

Really is a cute Italian restaurant. The food was great, and so was the service. We sat on their outside patio in the evening, and it was beautiful. They had it decorated with plants and trees, and we had no bugs bothering us. They must pay them off. 😆 My wife and I had the egg plant parmasien. It was awesome. There were 6 of us, and everyone loved their meal.
